I originally started this blog back in 2014 with lofty aspirations of publishing posts on my (marginally original) perspectives on philosophy, investing, startups, software engineering, and culture.

I actually have a "blog-posts" folder full of drafts on these topics and no shortage of ideas for posts I want to write. But it turns out the effort required to get these into a publishable state is usually too high for me to prioritize them over other projects.

Thus, my posts here are mostly about food, or are materials for meetups I've helped faciliate. Stuff that's quick to write and pertinent for sharing with people I know IRL. It's nice to have my own site for this stuff.

I moved to LA in late 2020. Previously I've lived in Taipei, Boston, and a couple other places. I grew up in Ellicott City, Maryland.
